From past six months, I’ve been travelling quite a lot and have explored dozens of cultures, languages and experienced people from diverse backgrounds. Since most of my travel braided with my work, I always found myself fortunate to have an added advantage of extending my stays at these places.
Here’s a quick pin snapshot of the places I’ve been in past six months:
Looking back, what’s been more exciting is the fact that internet has changed travel for me. Sometimes it hasn’t been for the better, but it gave me an ability to share, connect, and collaborate in ways that haven’t been possible before.
Every new place I visited, gave me a broader dimension to see things from a different perspective, an opportunity to meet new people and certainly a huge learning experience adapting myself with assorted local food and climate.
It’s been around three weeks that I’ve been in New Delhi. The climate here is chilled and worth experiencing (since I’ve been wrapping myself with warmers during the day time and digging myself into the warm blankets at nights). This is the first time, I’m experiencing the real north winters, since Mumbai has always been humid and moderate. From past one week, I’ve been pushing 10 hours every day towards my work and it’s been real crazy since I almost lost the track of my time.
Today being Friday, I’ve decided that I’ll be doing a road trip to Dehradun (the capital city of the state of Uttarakhand in the northern part of India) and Nainital (a himalayan resort town in the Kumaon region of India’s Uttarakhand state, at an elevation of roughly 2,000m).
I’m all excited about the trip and ready with my bag pack to explore the ‘upcoming’ 🙂 😀
